¹ These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, ² Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad and Asher.	1 Gen 35:22-26 Gen 46:8-25
³ The sons of Judah were Er, Onan and Shelah; these three were born to him by Bath-shua the Canaanitess. ⁵ The sons of Perez were Hezron and Hamul. ⁶ The sons of Zerah were^a In Josh 7:1, ZabdiZimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol and^b In 1 Kin 4:31, DardaDara; five of them in all. ⁷ The^c Lit sonsson of Carmi was^d In Josh 7:18, AchanAchar, the troubler of Israel, who violated the ban. ⁸ The^e Lit sonsson of Ethan was Azariah.	7 Jos 7:1
⁹ Now the sons of Hezron, who were born to him were Jerahmeel, Ram and Chelubai. ¹⁰ Ram^f Lit begot, and so throughout the chbecame the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab became the father of Nahshon, leader of the sons of Judah; ¹¹ Nahshon became the father of Salma, Salma became the father of Boaz, ¹² Boaz became the father of Obed, and Obed became the father of Jesse; ¹³ and Jesse became the father of Eliab his firstborn, then Abinadab the second,^gShimea the third, ¹⁴ Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth, ¹⁵ Ozem the sixth, David the seventh;
