Philippians, Chapter 3,  verses 1-8

1 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things again is no trouble to me, and it is a safeguard for you.
2 Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of thea Lit mutilation; Gr katatomefalse circumcision; 3 for we are the trueb Gr peritomecircumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh, 4 although I myself might have confidence even in the flesh. If anyone else has a mind to put confidence in the flesh, I far more: 5 circumcised the eighth day, of the nation of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the Law, a Pharisee; 6 as to zeal, a persecutor of the church; as to the righteousness which is in the Law, found blameless.
7 But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. 8 More than that, I count all things to be lossc Lit because ofin view of the surpassing value ofd Lit the knowledge ofknowing Christ Jesus my Lord,e Lit because offor whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ,

Luke, Chapter 11,  verses 14-23

14 And He was casting out a demon, and it was mute; when the demon had gone out, the mute man spoke; and the crowds were amazed. 15 But some of them said, “He casts out demons by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons.” 16 Others,m Lit testingto test Him, were demanding of Him an Or attesting miraclesign from heaven. 17 But He knew their thoughts and said to them, “o Lit everyAny kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and a house divided againstp Lit a houseitself falls. 18 If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say that I cast out demons by Beelzebul. 19 And if I by Beelzebul cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? So they will be your judges. 20 But if I cast out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. 21 Whenq Lit thea strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions arer Lit in peaceundisturbed. 22 But when someone stronger than he attacks him and overpowers him, he takes away from him all his armor on which he had relied and distributes his plunder. 23 He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me, scatters.
